My name is Ashlee, I am a 31 year old born and raised in Maryland. I have an insanely supportive husband, Jake and the cutest little blonde toddler Finley aka Finn who is 2 years old. Both my husband and I have our dream jobs and are lucky enough to get ample time off to travel and do what we love best. Work hard play hard right? I am a full time Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant, the group of medical professionals I work with are badass. I love wine, Twizzlers, barre and naps. But mostly I love travel and so does my husband. Jake and I have been together since I was 16. Our first trip together was to Mexico when I was 17 and he had to sign a waiver stating he was taking me out of the country and my parents had to consent. Since then we knew travel was going to be a huge part of our lives and what we want to spend our money on. We hope we can instill the same wanderlust into our baby boy Finn. TRAVEL IS THE ONLY THING YOU BUY THAT MAKES YOU RICHER.
I’ve been contemplating starting a blog for a while to give my insight on how we have navigated through family travel thus far and my hubby, sister and best friend Rachel talked me into taking the plunge. I am definitely not an expert and always use Pinterest and blog posts to help me plan our vacations but hopefully I can help at least a few people out figuring out how to plan awesome vacations without a travel agent with or without your little one/s.
